Mikayla, also known behind the lens as “Swiper,” is a Filipina-American photographer and creative force from Chicago, based in Los Angeles. Specializing in fashion, streetwear, and music + entertainment photography, she brings an editorial flare and intimate artistry to visual storytelling—merging authenticity with bold, creative direction.

Her work spans editorials, brand campaigns, lookbooks, concerts + festivals, and branded events, with a focus on capturing identity, culture, and community. Whether documenting emerging artists or collaborating with major brands, Mikayla creates imagery that is visually striking and rooted in inclusivity—amplifying underrepresented voices through every frame.

In addition to her photography, Mikayla is the founder of I Heart Pinays—a clothing brand celebrating and empowering Filipina womxn—and brings expertise in digital marketing and account management, with a background in the advertising industry.
